A one design fleet only works if everyone buys the same boat. Two classes are on the table, and nothing is settled.
The classes
DragonFlite 95
The likely choice. It arrives nearly finished, it fits in a back seat, and there are active fleets all over New England, so there is always someone to race.

International One Metre
The other one on the table. A proper development class with a long history, a deeper rulebook, and more to fuss over. Costs more.

Bring it. Part of the point of starting a club is finding out what is already sitting in garages around here.

Wait until the club picks one. Buying into the class we do not sail means sailing alone.
